Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor who shot to fame with this characterization of "Harry Potter" in the Harry Potter film series, which is an adaptation of the book series "Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowlings. Daniel Jacob Radcliffe was born on 23 July 1989 in West London England to Alan George Radcliffe and Marcia Jeannine Gresham. He attended Sussex House School, and City of London School. At and early age he showed his interest in acting. He played the main lead for the BBC's televised two-part adaptation of Charles Dickens novel "David Copperfield" at the age of 10.He made his film debut in "The Tailor of Panama" in a supporting role in 2001. The first movie in the Harry Potter series "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was also released later in the same year. All the individual films in the series continue to produce box office results worldwide.
He made the transition from child to and adult actor through television series "Extras" and an Australian drama "December Boys". He later worked in "My Boy Jack" a real life story of Rudyard Kipling on First World War, where he played Kipling's son Jack Kipling.
